Soft kitty, warm kitty…

The Thesis Whisperer is on sick leave after I was hit by a car late last week…

While I have no lasting damage (thank goodness!) typing for long periods is uncomfortable due to a severely bruised left elbow.

I’ll be back next week. All the best with your work in the meantime!

You Australians… even if you have a Scandanavian first-name, are no known for resting on your elbows.

I think that this little episode will show just how much you’re appreciated, Inger.

    Get well soon.

Oh no – I hope you recover and repair quickly. I’ve been inspired by your work since I heard you speak at The ANU this year. My very best wishes, Sarah

Hope you are feeling better soon, and getting lots of rest.
Thanks for the wonderful stuff you post on your blog, it has helped me through many dark valleys of PhD study!

Hope that you feel much better really soon; and glad that no lasting damage appears to have been done. Rest up.

Feel better; how can you not under a warm kitty! All the best, and glad it was not worse and you are on the mend. Take it easy, these things can take some time to fully resolve. Hang in there!

Sorry to hear that! Remember to rest and do nothing even with bruising. Rest, ice, compress and elevate. Permission granted to stand down! Cheers 🙂

Oh no Inger! I hope you’re feeling much much better soon. We’ll be thinking of you! (p.s. I don’t comment but I love your blog! Thanks for your work.)
